Sheik Saoud Al-Thani from Qatar, the world’s most important art collector, is founder and name giving personality of a unique international photo contest: THE AL-THANI AWARD FOR PHOTOGRAPHY.
It is the aim of the contest to promote the art of photography in establishing a world wide number one photo event. It shall encourage participants from around the globe to communicate with each other through the wonderful language of photography.
The contest will be organized extraterritorially on behalf of the Qatar Photographic Society by the experienced team of Trierenberg Super Circuit in Austria, where the judging will take place too. The exhibition will be presented in Doha / Qatar as well as London.
